Common questions
Yes — the sound is calm and shallow near the dock, making it ideal for wading, kayaking, and paddling. Swimming is at your own discretion. We recommend water shoes if you plan to get into the sound.
Absolutely. The dock has plenty of room!
We typically require a 2-night minimum, though this may vary by season. Check Airbnb for current availability and requirements.
There's a well-stocked grocery store, Food Lion, about 20 minutes away. There is also a Dollar General about 10 minutes away that offers pantry items and other groceries. We'll share a full local guide with your booking confirmation.
Yes, though please note the property is directly on the water. We recommend close supervision of young children outside at all times. A child counts as one of the two guests staying in the guesthouse, unless the child is under 1 year old. Please note that we do not provide a playpen or other child-specific items.
